Hall Farm Christmas Trees & Christmas Shop
Opening times: 10am - 5pm every day
We are a family run business on a working farm in Newton on Trent, Lincolnshire. We offer a range of high quality real Christmas trees as well as exclusive decorations from Gisela Graham and Noma tree lights. During December we have a Nativity scene with live animals to entertain the children as well as a Christmas shop full of a wide range of decorations and lights.
Christmas Trees
We are selling two types of trees this year, the premium Nordmann Fir which is classed as non needle drop, and better suited to warmer environments. It is certainly the tree of choice with underfloor heating. The most popular tree is a 6ft Nordmann which we are selling for £40.00.
We also have the traditional Norway Spruce tree which has shorter and sharper needles than the Nordmann, but you get the fragrance. Needle retention is less good on the Norway Spruce but as all our trees are freshly cut they should last until Christmas particularly if kept away from radiators.
All the trees on sale have been grown on the farm, and carefully selected for harvesting this year.
Christmas Shop
In the shop our main tree decoration supplier is Gisela Graham. There's a whole range of styles, colours and of course prices.
The Christmas lights we stock are mainly from Noma, and I have just taken delivery of some colour changing lights which look fabulous. There is also a range of decorations for the home including ornaments, and garlands.
Fresh wreaths are made here onsite, and so orders can be taken or customers can choose from the available stock. I am also selling crafts and art works from five local crafters.
Courtyard Tearoom
Hall Farm Christmas Shop is next door to the Courtyard Tearoom, which is open Tuesday to Sunday. The opening times are 9.00am - 4.00pm. They offer a range of lite bites and lunches, festive afternoon teas, and delicious home made cakes. Booking is preferred.
